Zack Lorton is an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional with experience leading safety, environmental compliance, and risk management programs across manufacturing, energy, construction, and industrial operations. His career began in the military as a U.S. Army Combat Medic, where he developed a strong foundation in emergency response, leadership, and operational risk management.

Following his military service, Zack worked in emergency medical services before transitioning into environmental and occupational safety leadership. Throughout his career, he has managed complex EHS programs, regulatory compliance initiatives, environmental permitting efforts, emergency preparedness planning, industrial hygiene projects, and corporate safety management systems for organizations ranging from small businesses to large multi-site manufacturers.

Today, Zack serves as a Corporate EHS leader while also providing consulting services through LST Environmental Health & Safety Consulting. His expertise includes OSHA compliance, environmental permitting, safety auditing, contractor management, written program development, confined space and LOTO programs, emergency response planning, and workforce safety training.

Zack is passionate about helping organizations protect their employees, maintain regulatory compliance, and build strong safety cultures that support long-term business success. Based in Northern Minnesota, he and his family enjoy spending time outdoors and taking advantage of everything the region has to offer.
